Happy Mother’s Day!
I would like to take the time to say Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. Mothers work so hard for their kids! You gotta love them 🙂
My mother has got to be the hardest working person I have ever seen. During the week, she spends her time cleaning, cooking, driving kids to events, running to the store, or taking care of other things in life. We have 6 kids in our house. They are ages 21, 16 (me), 13, 13, 7, and 6. Three of those kids were adopted last summer. My mother (and father) obeyed God and took these three girls in. I thank God for the mother He has given me. She does all that during the week, but during the weekend she works in the NICU at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She takes care of newborn babies that are premature or sick. She literally saves lives!
Another woman who has had a huge impact on my life is my grandmother. That woman was incredible! I remember going to her house all the time as a kid. That’s where I wanted to be! She’s responsible for introducing me to God. I remember her taking me to church every week. She did the same thing with my older brother. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she didn’t stop caring for us. She still cooked a meal almost every Sunday afternoon, let us stay the night, and came to our events. In 2006, Grandma died. I rejoice because I know she is now with Jesus in Heaven! I miss her, but I can’t wait to see her again in Heaven!
Once again Happy Mother’s Day and God bless you all!
